Premium CoD titles like MW3 are now unified alongside the free Warzone experience thanks to the Call of Duty HQ app that brings them together in one place. Here’s what you need to know about CoD HQ.

With Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2‘s release, Call of Duty made the decision to shift their games into a unified launcher, allowing players to access both titles from one place called Call of Duty HQ.

CoD HQ is a complete overhaul of the Call of Duty menus, and now that Modern Warfare 3 is here, you may be wondering what you need to play the game.

Here’s everything you need to know about Call of Duty HQ.

What is MW3’s Call of Duty HQ?

Call of Duty HQ is the dedicated CoD launcher where players will be able to access several CoD games, including Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Modern Warfare 2.

From the unified CoD HQ launcher, players have the option to access a wide variety of game modes and experiences across every active Call of Duty title, including Warzone’s Battle Royale and Resurgence as well as Modern Warfare 3‘s campaign or Zombies mode, among others.

CoD HQ features a streaming-inspired UI design that allows each game to have its own section featuring every mode in one place.

From now on, players must have Call of Duty HQ installed to access any title in the franchise. Each annual premium game, as well as Warzone, will be accessible through this application that will appear as “Call of Duty” on consoles and PC.

How to install CoD HQ

To install CoD HQ, you simply have to download Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone, which will include the Call of Duty HQ launcher. Once installed, you’ll notice that the app is named “Call of Duty,” as Warzone, MW3, or any additional game will work as a content package within it.
