An unsuspecting Warzone 2 SMG may now be a meta Sniper support option in Season 2 Reloaded, as Metaphor claims the weapon is now “insane.”

There are a lot of weapon options in Warzone 2 as of Season 2 Reloaded, especially since the Tempus Torrent has come in to shake up the meta.

Depending on your playstyle, and whether you prefer Al Mazrah or Resurgence on Ashika Island, some weapons are better than others. Snipers have always been a popular weapon of choice for Call of Duty players, especially if they one-shot.

In Warzone 2, those who run Snipers will often support the long-range weapon with a close-range SMG or versatile gun, so that all distances are covered.

There are many great Sniper support options in Warzone 2, but popular content creator Metaphor believes he may have found the new meta after buffs to the BAS-P in the Season 2 Reloaded update.

Metaphor’s Warzone 2 BAS-P Sniper support loadout

  • Muzzle: Bruen Cubic Comp
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Stock: Bruen Flash V4 Stock
  • Rear Grip: D37 Grip

The BAS-P is a pretty underrated weapon, with a pick rate of only 0.5% according to WZ Ranked. That said, the weapon did receive some buffs to its sprint-to-fire time and damage ranges, making it a worthy choice in Season 2 Reloaded.

First off, Metaphor opts for the Bruen Cubic Comp muzzle for horizontal and vertical recoil control, as well as the FSS Sharkfin 90 for aiming idle stability.

The D37 Grip will help aid the weapon’s recoil further, giving you more control when enemies are just out of the gun’s recommended range. As for the Stock, the Bruen Flash V4 is a great choice, as this attachment will help with a variety of mobility stats including sprint and aim down sight speeds.

Lastly, Metaphor has gone with the Cronen Mini Pro for the optic, but this is an attachment slot that can be left to preference. The content creator paired the BAS-P with the SP-X 80, so definitely give this combination a go if you’re looking for a new Sniper loadout.
