Gallo SA12 in Black Ops Cold War

Black Ops Cold War has a wide assortment of Shotguns to choose from, and the Gallo SA12 is a great choice that’s capable of dishing out a ton of damage. Here’s the best loadout for it in Season 4.

When you jump into a game of Black Ops Cold War, you’ll find that most players are making use of SMGs such as the PPSH-41 and Assault Rifles like the AK-47. However, Shotguns are still an ideal pick in Season 4.

The Gallo SA12 (SPAS-12) semi-auto Shotgun is particularly noteworthy. It’s capable of annihilating enemies in close-quarter firefights thanks to its impressive rate of fire and reliable hip-fire accuracy.

Our Cold War Season 4 SPAS-12 loadout will make things more fun.

Best Gallo SA12 attachments

  • Muzzle: Duckbill Choke
  • Barrel: 21.4” Reinforced Heavy
  • Body: SWAT 5MW Laser Sight
  • Magazine: 9 RND Tube
  • Stock: Wire Stock

First, we’ll apply the Duckbill Choke to widen the Shotgun’s pellet spread by 50%. If you’re up against multiple enemies, then a wider spread will boost your chances of hitting the targets in a Black Ops Cold War match.

The Shotgun’s main strengths are its hip-fire accuracy and high rate of fire. The 21.4” Reinforced Heavy barrel will increase the fire rate even more while strengthening its damage. This way, you’ll be able to hold your own against SMG users.

The SWAT 5MW Laser Sight will improve hip-fire accuracy. Now you won’t have to worry about having to stop and aim, as this attachment complements the other attachments in this loadout perfectly.

The only thing holding back the high fire rate is the small amount of ammo in your magazine. Adding the 9 RND Tube will make up for this by increasing the amount the Gallo SA12 can carry at the cost of slightly reduced reload speed.

Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout with the Wire Stock, which slightly boosts your sprint-to-fire speed so that you can close in on your foes quicker.

Best perks to run with Cold War Gallo SA12

BOCW flak jacket perk

We’ve opted for the Perk Greed Wildcard, meaning you get an additional Perk for each slot.

  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket, Tactical Mask
  • Perk 2: Tracker, Scavenger
  • Perk 3: Ghost, Ninja

In Cold War’s multiplayer, players will often throw a grenade in front of them to stop your push, but with the Flak Jacket and the Gallo SA12 equipped, you can run straight through and blast them in the face, while Tactical Mask will keep you stun-free.

Tracker will let you spot the whereabouts and the direction of your opponents by highlighting their footsteps. This will help in taking them by surprise. Scavenger enables you to replenish your ammo supply.

And finally, Ghost and Ninja will hide you from Spy Planes, Field Mics, and keep your footsteps silent for quick flanks on the enemy.

The Gallo SA12 Shotgun can be unlocked at Level 34. This is over halfway through the level unlocks so it will take a few hours to get there.

Just prioritize getting killstreaks and playing the objective and you’ll soon fly through the levels. You’ll then get to use this powerful weapon to cause some serious pain to your enemies.

Best alternatives to the Gallo SA12

The Gallo SA12 dominates in close-range combat, so you’ll want to run weapons that can output similar damage. The Streetsweeper is a great choice, being semi-automatic but also capable of one-shotting enemies at close range.

This build will make you a killing machine with the Gallo SA12 equipped. Keep it ready for close combat, and you’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
