Audio cues can help you detect enemy movements and secure victories in Call of Duty, but a strange new glitch is breaking the audio for players after they score kills in Warzone Pacific Caldera.

Warzone Pacific players have had to deal with their fair share of issues ever since the arrival of the new map Caldera. Many glitches have plagued the game, such as the one that lets you keep weapons and Perks after death.

Now, players are frustrated with audio issues in the battle royale title. One bizarre glitch is preventing them from being able to hear after securing kills, ruining matches in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Reddit user by ‘Putridzzz’ highlighted this glitch in the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit. Audio is a major part of the battle royale title, and the Redditor pointed out how the bug is putting players at a disadvantage.

Audio cues help you detect enemies and let you know if you’re in any imminent danger. However, this glitch is causing the in-game sounds to become muffled, making headphones effectively useless.

Putridzzz stated that this problem is present in both solos and duos modes. They tried taking the headphone jack out and then placing it back in but that still didn’t fix the issue. Many other players reported the same problem.

“Happened to me and I got a new controller and had my headphones plugged in and thought it was the audio jack messed up,” wrote one user.

This glitch has been noticed by many members of the Warzone community, and one player has a potential solution. “You need to stun or flash yourself to fix it in-game,” they suggested. Apparently, this can fix the audio problem temporarily.

At the time of writing, the developers have yet to address these issues. Hopefully, Raven Software will patch up this audio glitch in a future update, and we’ll be sure to let you know when they do.
