Chimera Assault Rifle in Warzone 2

Warzone 2’s Season 1 Reloaded update is here, bringing the lightweight but deadly Chimera Assault Rifle. Here’s everything you need to build the best Chimera loadout in Warzone including attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Warzone 2‘s first major update is here with Season 1 Reloaded bringing a ton of quality of life changes and bug fixes, as well as a few weapon buffs and nerfs. That’s not all though, as the Mini Royale playlist has returned, DMZ has the new Building 21 area to discover, and the Chimera Assault Rifle has finally arrived.

The Chimera is modeled after the Honey Badger from CoD Ghosts, featuring an integrated suppressor and high mobility. To take advantage of its power, we’re breaking down all of the attachments, Perks, and Equipment you need to build the best Chimera loadout in Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded.

Best Warzone 2 Chimera loadout attachments

  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Stock: Ravage-8
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: D37 Grip

We’ve built the best Warzone 2 Chimera loadout to be the perfect sniper support weapon, complementing long-range options such as the SPX-80. You won’t be beaming enemies across the map, but it’ll be extremely effective in close to medium-range fights.

We’re kicking off the Chimera loadout with the VLK LZR 7MW Laser and Ravage-8 Stock, vastly improving the weapon’s mobility to keep it competitive at close range.

To make sure it’s still accurate we’ve added the D37 Grip for recoil control and the Cronen Mini Pro optic which has a clean blue dot reticle. Finally, the 45 Round Mag is essential when fighting armored foes in Warzone 2.

Best Warzone 2 Chimera loadout Perk Package & Equipment

  • Perk Package: Weapon Specialist (Overkill, Strong Arm, Spotter, Survivor)
  • Lethal Equipment: Drill Charge
  • Tactical Equipment: Flash Grenade

When picking up your loadout we recommend taking the Weapon Specialist Perk Package as you’ll need to pair the best Chimera loadout with a long-range weapon such as a Sniper Rifle. But, if you’ve bought the weapon from a Buy Station already, then take Specter for the much-needed Ghost Perk.

Drill Charges are great for rooting out building campers and Flash Grenades will completely blind opponents, making for a quick and easy kill.
