The Type 100 is often overlooked in favor of the MP40, but players are now discovering its incredible power. Here are the attachment and Perks to create the best Type 100 loadout for Vanguard Season 2.

Aside from Season 1’s inclusion of the Welgun, Vanguard’s SMG meta hasn’t changed since launch. This has turned the Type 100 into an absolutely underrated monster of a weapon.

The two most popular Vanguard SMGs are without a doubt the MP40 and Welgun, but the Type 100 SMG has started making waves thanks to its incredibly fast time-to-kill.

We’ve put together the best attachments and Perks for a versatile, fast-killing Type 100 loadout.

Best Type 100 loadout attachments

Vanguard Type 100 SMG
  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Warubachi 134mm Rapid
  • Optic: Sakura Short Irons
  • Stock: Warubachi Skeletal
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
  • Magazine: 8mm Kurz 40 Round Drums
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Proficiency: Fleet
  • Kit: Quick

This Type 100 is built to quickly dart around the map, taking down multiple enemies by surprise. To start, we’re going with the attachments that will make the Type 100 a menace at medium distances with the Warubachi 134mm Rapid, F8 Stabilizer, and 8mm Kurz 40 Round Drums.

These three attachments will make the Type 100 a highly versatile SMG as your bullets will continue to deliver incredible damage at greater distances.

Unfortunately, these attachments will reduce the Type 100’s ADS speed and movement speed, but the Warubachi Skeletal and Sakura Short Irons will make up for that. These attachments will still allow the Type 100 to feel like a fast SMG.

To keep it accurate, we’ve added the M1930 Strife Angled foregrip to allow you to stay on target when moving. The Lengthened ammo type will once again ensure that the Type 100 hits hard both at close-range and medium-range.

And finally, the Fleet Proficiency and Quick Kit will provide a boost to movement speed which will help counteract the attachments that reduce the Type 100’s speed.

Best Perks to use with Type 100 in Vanguard

Ninja Perk in Call of Duty Vanguard
  • Perk 1: Fortified
  • Perk 2: Forward Intel
  • Perk 3: Lightweight

For the first Perk, we’ve opted for Fortified. Explosive damage in Vanguard can prove incredibly annoying to deal with. With Fortified equipped you’ll be able to withstand explosive damage and continue to play as an aggressive SMG.

Next, Forward Intel will increase your mini-map size and show you exactly where enemies spawn. Controlling the map is extremely easy, and YouTuber JGOD even called it “completely broken.”

And finally, Lightweight will allow you to run faster, so you can quickly push enemy spawns to help your team control the map.

Best alternatives to the Type 100 in CoD: Vanguard

If you haven’t unlocked the Type 100 yet or it isn’t your cup of tea, there are plenty of other viable options. The Welgun is arguably one the most powerful SMGs in the game, and the Whitley LMG has been the most dominant Season 2 weapon in the game.

And that’s everything you need to be an absolute menace on Vanguard’s maps with the Type 100.
