Almost a year since its launch, Battlefield 2042 is almost at the halfway point of its second season. Season 2 brought new weapons, the Discarded map, Charlie Crawford Specialist, and players have been extremely satisfied with Update 2.1.
DICE aren’t resting on their laurels though, as they’ve announced Season 2’s mid-Season update will bring the Liquidators event.

Battlefield 2042 Liquidators event start & end date
Battlefield 2042’s The Liquidators event acts as the mid-Season 2 update, arriving on Tuesday, October 11, and wrapping up two weeks later on October 25.
This two-week event brings the new Tactical Conquest mode, exclusive items to the store, as well as missions and rewards.
Battlefield 2042 Tactical Conquest LTM explained
Battlefield 2042’s Tactical Conquest mode is essentially Domination from Call of Duty, where teams fight to control three objectives in small versions of the maps.
Tactical Conquest is infantry only and will be 8v8 in week 1, with week 2 bringing a more chaotic 16v16 version. Players will fight in smaller versions of both classic and 2042 maps, with Tactical Conquest featuring Arica Harbor, Breakaway, Caspian Border, Discarded, Renewal, and Stranded.
Battlefield 2042 Liquidators event missions & rewards
While playing in Battlefield 2042’s Tactical Conquest mode in the Liquidators event, you’ll be tasked with earning Ribbons which grant unique rewards such as Player Cards, Weapon Skins, and a Dozer Specialist set.

- 10 Ribbons – Epic “The Shield” Player Card Background
- 30 Ribbons – Epic “Kinetic Caliber” AM40 Weapon Skin
- 60 Ribbons – Epic “Wrecking Crew” Dozer Specialist Set
- 100 Ribbons – Legendary “Trojan Horse” M1A5 Vehicle Skin
And just for booting up Battlefield 2042 during the Liquidators event, “you’ll also be able to grab a Login Reward and a free themed Headgear and Weapon Skin from the Store.”
Exclusive Battlefield 2042 Liquidators event Store items
Battlefield 2042’s Liquidators event will also bring new items to the store that can only be purchased during the two-week period. While they haven’t revealed exactly what’s coming, we can see new Operator skins, Charms, and Weapon Skins in the promotional image.
