Top Warzone player Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is frustrated with the current state of stream sniping in the game and has asked the developers to add a streamer mode soon.

Warzone has become extremely popular ever since it first launched in 2020, and it has its fair share of competitive fans. Aydan ‘Aydan’ Conrad is one of the top players and can often be seen dominating tournaments.

However, one common problem being faced by streamers is players checking their streams to find their locations and kill them. This is known as stream sniping, and Aydan is upset that Warzone doesn’t have a proper streamer mode.

A clip was floating around Twitter of Aydan getting eliminated in a Warzone match by an enemy who seemed to know exactly who he was fighting.

“Stream sniping rats,” wrote the top player. “Another reason why Warzone sucks, NO WORKING STREAMER MODE.” This mode stops gets rid of the person’s name that kills you without making you waste a name change.

In Apex Legends, your character has random numbers at the end, and the name is completely hidden. This protects you against unwarranted stream sniping from enemies.

Currently, Warzone doesn’t have a working streamer mode. You can hide screens when queuing to reduce stream sniping, but that won’t help if your name pops up in the kill feed, directing enemies towards your stream.

This isn’t the first time that Warzone players have asked the developers to add a feature from Apex Legends to the game. Hopefully, we’ll see some kind of change to fix this in a future update.

With Warzone Season 5 finally here, there are a ton of changes in place for the battle royale, and you can check out the new battle pass here.
