Ever wondered if every player you play online with in CoD: Mobile is real? Well, we have all the details on whether or not bots exist in multiplayer, and also find out how you can practice against them too.

There is a long-standing belief that in the first few ranks of CoD: Mobile you’ll face mostly, if not all, bots in your online games. Players will find that if they can adjust to the controls quickly, then they can rack up some serious kills from the get-go.

However, this isn’t necessarily because you’re an expert marksman in CoD: Mobile, but more so due to the presence of simulated players. So let’s discuss the likelihood of bots in CoD: Mobile, and how to practice against them too.

Do you play against bots in CoD: Mobile?

Even though Activision or devs TiMi Studio Group haven’t come out and directly addressed it, we’re 99.99% sure that bots do exist in online games of CoD: Mobile.

Playing Call of Duty on a smaller, handheld device requires a lot more precision due to its slightly fiddly nature. So it’s only natural that it might take some time to adjust, or you just might be a new player in general that is getting to grips with Call of Duty.

So until you reach about Level 10 in CoD: Mobile, you’ll find that in your first few games that you’re almost godlike – finishing with insane K/D ratios. This is because you’re playing nothing but bots. You can still get bots in later levels too if the lobby is struggling to fill up for whatever reason.

It’s also quite easy to tell the difference between a bot and a real player as well. Yes, there will inevitably be newcomers that struggle with CoD: Mobile, but they still act naturally.

Whereas bots will repeatedly duck and dodge in cover in a completely robotic way following the same scripted path. Additionally, they also stand out in the open not even attempting to take cover and move into completely bizarre positions.

The game will inform you that you will earn XP at a “90% reduction,” but that’s not why you’re in practice anyway.

So if you’re new to the game, or encounter a strange-looking and behaving enemy, then consider the possibility that they are indeed a bot.
