Respawn Entertainment have officially revealed that the Apex Legends Season 14 update will bring a brand-new attachment to the game, the Laser Sight.

Apex Legends Season 14 is shaping up to be a very interesting update, bringing huge changes to weapons, the Level Cap, and Kings Canyon, as well as a sniper-focused Legend in Vantage.

Along with all these updates and new pieces of content, Apex Legends Season 14 may not bring a new weapon, but players will be receiving a brand-new attachment, the Laser Sight.

The new Laser Sight attachment is coming in Apex Legends Season 14 for SMGs and Pistols. This includes the R-99, Prowler, Alternator, Volt, CAR, RE-45, P2020, and Wingman.

Due to the new Wingman change, it’s currently unclear whether the weapon will still be considered a Pistol, but we will update this piece accordingly when the information is available.

The Laser Sight will reduce the hipfire spread for these weapons, making them even more deadly from close range. In Season 14, it’s likely that players will have to choose between a Laser Sight or Barrel Stabiliser, as they could take the same attachment slot.

So, players will need to figure out if they value close-range hipfire over long-range stability with SMGs and Pistols.

To add some flair to this attachment, the devs have also confirmed that players will be able to customize the laser color just like a reticle. This means that players will be able to change the color of their Laser Sight attachment to whatever they like, giving the game even more vibrance and customization.
