Apex Legends pro explains why Lifeline is “on top” of Season 14 meta

Apex Legends pro Noyan ‘Genburten’ Ozkose feels Lifeline is one of the best Legends in Season 14 at the moment, providing reasoning behind his thoughts.

Thanks to a variety of buffs and nerfs in the patch, the Legend meta did shift slightly in favor of Mad Maggie and Newcastle, but Legends like Octane and Wraith still remain at the top of the pick rates despite Vantage‘s popular introduction.

Support Legend Lifeline isn’t the most popular Legend in Season 14 of Apex Legends, and while she hasn’t received any buffs in Season 14, the Legend has been reworked over the last few seasons and is now in a great spot.

Not only does Lifeline have a great revive, allowing her team to get back to battle while also being able to protect them, but Lifeline’s health drone is also a lifesaver.

Having said that, pro player Genburten believes Lifeline is “on top” thanks to one specific thing about the Legend, her hitbox.

In the clip uploaded by NoobHunter, Genburten can be seen playing Lifeline in Ranked Leagues, which is especially impressive as they are in Predator lobbies.

Usually, in these highly skilled lobbies, teams can be found playing meta compositions such as Seer, Mad Maggie, and Valkyrie. However, Genburten decided to go against the grain, believing that “Lifeline’s goated, the meta.”

Although Lifeline’s most valuable feature is arguably her revive, Genburten says “I don’t even need to res, I’m just playing her hitbox right now, I’m just abusing Lifeline hitbox,” as he goes on to win a tough fight with the character in a Ranked game.

So, if you’re looking for a new Legend to play in Apex Legends, perhaps you should give Lifeline a go, as it seems the pro feels she’s definitely worthy of being at the top, and not just for Arenas.
