Respawn Entertainment often introduce new cosmetic items in Apex Legends, but players aren’t happy with a new Holospray that they consider to be overpriced.

There are various unique characters and weapons to choose from in Apex Legends, and you can customize these with some neat cosmetics, including new skins, heirlooms, and Holosprays.

Some of these items are more popular than others, and a few of them sometimes leave players scratching their heads. Now, a new Holospray has been revealed and Apex fans aren’t happy with it.

Apex Legends Horizon using ability

Reddit user the_best_wraith_main showcased a new Apex Legends Holospray that’s available for purchase. It seems to be Nessie wearing a golden crown while sitting on top of a throne.

While this is a fun little cosmetic, the player was upset about the high price of the item. “10 dollars for this Holospray? Is this some joke that I can’t understand?” asked the Redditor.

Many of the commenters were in agreement that $10 seems a bit too pricey for a simple Holospray and began slamming the developers for this decision.

Many players were quick to blame EA for this and mentioned that you could previously get much more for this price. “Remember when 10 pounds allowed you to get prime titans,” wrote one user.

Other commenters stated that these decisions are made by Respawn and not EA while advising players to not buy overpriced items. Despite this, a few users still appreciated the art on the Holospray.

There was also a little Nessie emote in Season 9, and you could actually see the monster come out of the water in the original King’s Canyon map. So, it’s fitting that developers made a Holospray for the beast.
