Apex Legends players have found a new glitch that turns the player’s view into third-person for the rest of the match.

Apex Legends is a first-person shooter in its thirteenth season, but as some fans will know, Respawn have played around with a third-person mode in the past, with an LTM and easter egg to activate the perspective in the Firing Range.

With that being said, there is currently no official way to play the game in third-person, unless you are playing Apex Legends Mobile. However, it seems players have found a new glitch that allows them to do so.

Apex Legends content creator Skeptation highlighted a new glitch that players can perform during matches of battle royale that turns the camera from first-person to third.

In order to perform this glitch, players must have a Valkyrie on their team with the Skyward Dive Ultimate. Then, players will need to sit inside an open Loot Bin and get the Valkyrie to activate their Ultimate on top of it so that they can connect to the Skyward Dive.

Once Valkyrie initiates the launch, the Loot Bin will trap the player and prevent them from taking off, eventually allowing players to just walk around in third-person mode.

The glitch isn’t difficult to do, and while being in third-person may seem like a big advantage, it is very buggy, as the camera actually clips under the map when you slide and you will constantly have a cable attached to you that’s is connected to Valkyrie.

Also, when you ADS in this glitched third-person perspective, it locks your camera. There is also no crosshairs to see where you’re shooting, making it very difficult to play.

If you then connect to Valkyrie’s Ultimate once more after activating the third-person glitch, you will get thrown very fast in a random direction, sometimes clipping you out of the map and subsequently causing you to die.

While it may be fun to try out, we definitely don’t recommend players doing this glitch, especially in the ranked mode, as it could result in you receiving a ban.
