An Apex Legends player has come up with an extremely creative Firing Range concept that brings an obstacle course designed to help improve player movement.

Apex Legends is a very competitive battle royale with a lot of depth. As well as a whole roster of Legends with unique abilities to master, players also have to get to grips with the movement, as there are many techniques that need to be learned to become a high-level player.

From simple movement tech like slide jumping and climbing to more advanced maneuvers like wall jumping and tap strafing, it would be useful if players had a dedicated area to practice these movements, as they are essential to the experience.

Of course, we have the Firing Range, which is great for practicing weapon recoil, Legend abilities, simple movement maneuvers, and 1v1s with friends. However, one Apex Legends player has come up with an idea for an Obstacle Course Firing Range, which is gaining popularity on Reddit.

Redditor Barkhardt has come up with a great “Firing Range Concept,” which brings an “obstacle course meant to improve movement.”

At the time of writing, the post currently has over 300 upvotes, showing the popularity of the concept. The concept image shows a completely new Firing Range, with a place for players to wall jump and perform various movement techniques.

The OP is asking the community to help “create a new Firing Range and POI” for the concept, with “several floors, rooms, ropes, and corridors for (players) to traverse.”

The idea is that players can traverse this obstacle course, with the goal of completing it as fast as possible using movement techniques like wall jumping.

Even well-known Apex Legends content creator Mokeysniper, who is renowned for his movement tech videos, has commented saying “Damn that’s some unique and high quality content. Good sh*t.”

We’ll have to wait and see what happens with the concept, and although it’s unlikely to be introduced into the main game any time soon, perhaps it will inspire the devs for a future season.
