Having a stable FPS in Apex Legends will vastly improve your experience, so here are the minimum and recommended PC requirements.

Lifeline in Apex Legends season 10

Apex Legends is one of the most popular battle royale games globally, but you don’t need a top-of-the-line PC to get stable performance. Here are the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Apex Legends.

In the world of PC gaming, frames per second (FPS) is king. Maintaining a smooth, high frame rate improves reaction time and makes gaming a more pleasant experience.

Competitive gamers and top Apex Legends streamers shell out thousands of dollars to achieve these frame rates, but that isn’t always necessary. As long as you meet the PC requirements, you can input the best settings to get smooth gameplay.

Apex Legends, one of the most popular battle royale games globally, has very reasonable PC requirements. You don’t need brand-new hardware to achieve a stable 60 FPS, so here’s every the minimum and recommend Apex Legends PC specs.

Apex Legends minimum PC requirements

Apex Legends doesn’t take a particularly beefy PC to run, with 2012’s GeForce GT 640 being the very minimum NVIDIA GUP Respawn recommends. For RAM, you’ll only need 6GBs to run the game – most modern titles such as Warzone and Battlefield 2042 recommend at least 8.

It’s also worth noting that while Respawn recommends players have at least 22 GB of free space, in Season 10, the game has grown to around 80 GB. We’ve adjusted the requirements accordingly.

These are the very minimum PC specs that Respawn recommends to run Apex Legends:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz / AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • RAM: 6GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 / Radeon HD 7730
  • GPU RAM: 1 GB
  • HARD DRIVE: Minimum 80 GB of free space

Of course, you’ll need a much more powerful rig to run Apex Legends at a playable frame rate. But even still, Apex’s recommended requirements are very reasonable.

To hit a smooth 60fps in Apex, you’ll need to have at least a GeForce GTX 970 GPU, which was released back in 2014. And for the CPU, they recommend the Intel i5 3570K or equivalent.
