A new patch has arrived for Apex Legends on January 23, providing a variety of fixes including Horizon’s accidental nerfs.

Apex Legends players were baffled after the Spellbound Collection Event update, as the community began to find nerfs and changes for Legends that were not included in the patch notes.

The devs quickly addressed these accidental changes, providing some communication at a time when player’s had been feeling ignored.

Now, the Apex Legends January 23, 2023 update has arrived in Season 15, bringing some fixes and changes to the game that will likely be welcomed, especially by Horizon mains.

Horizon nerfs reverted in Apex Legends

After the Apex Legends Spellbound update, players noticed that Horizon’s Tactical felt off, as the Legend’s accuracy while going up her Gravity Lift seemed to be nerfed.

It turns out this was the case, and it was actually an accidental change, perhaps meant for a future update, maybe even Season 16. In the January 23 patch notes, the devs have confirmed that “Horizon’s tactical changes have been reverted.”

That said, players have also noticed a difference in Horizon’s Ultimate and Seer, which are yet to be addressed.

  • Legends start with correct number of tactical charges in BR.
