Apex Legends players are calling for Respawn Entertainment to bring back some of the battle royale’s classic hop-ups in order to boost the performance of a number of weapons.

Apex Legends hop-ups improve the performance of certain weapons, granting you a serious edge over your opponents during combat. Season 12 brought the Kinetic Feeder which automatically reloads weapons and reduces charge time while sliding.

Since these attachments change every season, many classic hop-ups are no longer available to use in the game, and players are desperately calling for Respawn Entertainment to bring them back in a future update.

Reddit user ‘Supercomfyplanet’ posted in the Apex Legends subreddit that they want the Skullpiercer Rounds to make a return so that they can increase the headshot damage of certain weapons.

Some of the commenters put in their own suggestions of classic hop-ups to bring back, and one user wrote: “Wingman is plenty strong already. I want the Select-Fire hop-up for the Prowler to come back.”

The thread also featured requests for the developers to bring back classic hop-ups like Anvil Receiver and the Quickdraw Holster, with many players explaining how fun these attachments made the gameplay.

One player commented: “QuickDraw was amazing, [it] turned the Wingman into such a beast by making it much more consistent, and adding the ability to hip fire with it.”

Players have consistently been calling for hop-ups to return across social media, and Supercomfyplanet’s thread has highlighted this topic again, with many users pointing out how great these attachments were.

At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether or not Respawn Entertainment have plans to bring these classic hop-ups back in some form, but they might do so in a future update in response to all of these requests.
