Apex coins in Apex Legends

In response to complaints from Apex Legends players about the high cost of Apex Coins, Respawn Entertainment have added a cheaper currency pack option to the game.

Apex Coins are the premium currency in Apex Legends that can you purchase with real money and then spend in order to get your hands on new cosmetic items for your Legends and weapons.

You may have to purchase bigger currency packs in order to get yourself certain items, and the Apex Legends community has been frustrated with the high cost of these. Now, the devs have responded to this issue.

Apex Legends Coin pack options

Apex Legends players that don’t have enough currency to unlock a specific item end up having to spend a lot on bigger currency packs. The cheapest bundle that you could get contained 1,000 Apex Coins and would set you back $9.99.

This can be particularly frustrating if you only need to use a small portion of the Apex Coins in the pack. Now, Respawn and EA have addressed this problem by adding the option to purchase currency packs with a 500 coin bundle for $4.99.

Now, you’ll be able to get yourself a decent number of Apex Coins without having to spend an extremely large amount of cash. Players that only need 400 Apex Coins to buy something, and no longer need to spend a whole $10 to do so.

The addition of this option will come as a huge relief to players that were tired of paying for currency that they didn’t need for an insanely high cost.

At the time of writing, the Apex Legends developers haven’t officially announced this change, but the arrival of this cheaper currency pack shows that they were listening to community feedback.
