Hogwarts Legacy will bring the magic of the Harry Potter world for players to enjoy, and you’ll be able to cast all sorts of spells in the game. Here’s every confirmed spell in Hogwarts Legacy.

There is a plethora of fun content in Hogwarts Legacy that will help recreate the experience of living in the Harry Potter world, including broomsticks that can be used to fly around the vast open world and get you to the different classes you’ll be attending.

As a student at Hogwarts, you’ll be able to cast spells that can be used for both defensive and offensive purposes. If you’re wondering which iconic spells from the series are available in the game then we’ve got you covered.

All spells in Hogwarts Legacy

After you’ve picked your house and wand, you can start using the latter to cast spells that are useful for a variety of different situations, including combat and interacting with the environment.

Here’s every spell confirmed so far for Hogwarts Legacy:

Spell	Effect
Crucio	Locks target in place while dealing continuous damage
Petrificus Totalus	Petrifies the target’s body
Rictusempra	Tickles targets and causes them to laugh uncontrollably
Riddikulus	Forces boggarts to assume another form
Stupefy	Stuns targets
Lumus	Illuminates the tip of your wand so that you can see in the dark
Incendio	Conjures fire
Avada Kedavra	Kills targets
Protego	Protects you from damage
Wingardium Leviosa	Levitates animals and objects
Accio	Summons objects
Flipendo	Knocks targets backward
Oppugno	Sends objects flying at a target
Descendo	Slams targets down
Diffindo	Slices through targets
Confrigo	Causes an explosion on the target
Imperio	Makes targets fight for you
Revelio	Reveals concealed objects and messages
Unknown “Powerful Magic” spell	Transforms you into energy, allowing you quickly move around the battlefield
Finisher One	Brings down a lightning strike from above to destroy targets
Finisher Two	Slams targets around before finishing them off

Hardcore Harry Potter fans will recognize that the three unforgivable curses are part of this list: Avada Kedavra, Imperio, and Crucio. Using any one of these would get Wizards and Witches sentenced to be prisoners in Azkaban.

There are also other spells that will come in handy during your time at Hogwarts, such as Wingardium Leviosa and Accio which will greatly assist you in reaching objects that would otherwise seem unobtainable.
