All Hogwarts Legacy beasts

Magical creatures and beasts in Hogwarts Legacy will play a major part in your wizarding journey. Here are all of the confirmed beasts set to appear in Hogwarts Legacy.

Harry Potter fans across the world will soon get the chance to jump into the wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy. The highly anticipated game will allow players to explore Hogwarts Castle and learn powerful spells, but it will also feature plenty of magical creatures.

Magical beasts will appear throughout your Hogwarts Legacy journey and there’s no doubt that some are friendlier than others. You’ll likely recognize a few familiar faces that have appeared in the Fantastic Beasts or Harry Potter series.

Confirmed beasts in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is set to release on February 10, but players can take a look at all of the magical beasts confirmed so far to prepare for the tasks ahead.

The Hogwarts Legacy State of Play trailer provided a glimpse of the beasts that are awaiting players come launch.

Here’s every beast confirmed in Hogwarts Legacy so far.

Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy Dragon

Dragons are the most popular and, from the looks of it, the most fearsome creatures around. A fantasy game would not be complete without a few Dragons and Hogwarts Legacy certainly delivers when it comes to the scaly beasts.

From guarding Gringotts Bank to playing a major role in the TriWizard Tournament, fire-breathing Dragons have appeared throughout the Harry Potter universe on multiple occasions.

Hogwarts Legacy Graphorn

Graphorns are said to be aggressive creatures with sharp horns and skin that’s tougher than a Dragon’s. However, Hogwarts Legacy trailers have revealed a Hogwarts student petting a Graphorn that seems to have a docile nature.

It’ll be interesting to see which creatures you can befriend while exploring the open-world environment.

Hogwarts Legacy Hippogriff

Hogwarts Legacy Hippoggrif

Fans of the Harry Potter franchise will surely recall Buckbeak the Hippogriff who lived with Hagrid during the Prisoner of Azkaban and later appeared in Harry’s subsequent years at Hogwarts.

The creature looks like a cross between a horse and an eagle, which should give players the ability to fly around in Hogwarts Legacy, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Hogwarts Legacy troll

Coming across a Troll in Hogwarts Legacy will not be a pleasant experience. These massive creatures will outclass you in strength and size, but with some clever thinking, you’ll have a chance to outwit them. Just be mindful of the giant club they swing around and wield as a weapon.

Mooncalfs in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy Mooncalf

An early Hogwarts Legacy trailer revealed a young witch feeding a group of Mooncalfs and it’s clear to see just how cute these creatures are up close. If you’re looking to come across these furry friends, you’ll have to explore certain areas at night.

Mooncalfs burrow deep underground and only surface during a full moon, which makes them quite a rare encounter.

Hogwarts Legacy Acromantula

If you have a fear of spiders, now would be a great time to look away. Acromantula are giant spiders that appear in the wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy. While common Acromantula grow to the size seen in the image above, older ones such as the Forbidden Forest’s Aragog can grow to a towering size.

Hogwarts Legacy Niffler

Niffler Hogwarts Legacy

Nifflers are in direct competition with Mooncalfs for the prize of most adorable beast in Hogwarts Legacy. Having first appeared in the initial Fantastic Beasts film, it didn’t take long for audiences to notice their charm.

Nifflers use their long snouts to track hidden treasures and they happen to cause some mischief from time to time. If you’re lucky, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to brush their fluffy hides in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy Fwooper

Fwooper feathers are mainly used as quilts, and they hatch in up to four bright colors: yellow, orange, pink, and green.

Fwoopers are much more malicious than their cute appearance would indicate. Listening to their high-pitched songs could drive the listener insane, so you’ll want to keep your guard up when coming across a Fwooper in Hogwarts Legacy.
