AFK Arena: How to get Dimensional Heroes
Some of the most popular heroes in AFK Arena like Ezio, Prince of Persia, and Joker belong to the Dimensional faction. Here’s how you can unlock all the Dimensional Heroes in AFK Arena and diversify your roster.
AFK Arena has played a major role in popularizing idle RPGs and over the years, several amazing games have been added to the genre. From Undead World: Hero Survival and Mythic Heroes to Mobile Legends: Adventure and Figure Fantasy, there are many games to choose from.
Just like other idle titles, AFK Arena might not compel its players to grind for hours but it offers a wide range of Heroes, and many take pride in unlocking them all. Alongside a ton of original characters, we also have Dimensional Heroes that have arrived in Esperia through portals.
In this guide, we’ll teach you how to unlock Dimensional Heroes in AFK Arena.

AFK Arena currently has 12 playable Dimensional Heroes including:
- King Arthur
- Merlin
- Leonardo Da Vinci
- Baba Yaga
- Nakoruru
- Ukyo
- Ezio from Assassin’s Creed
- Ainz Gown
- Albedo
- Joker
- Queen
- Prince of Persia
Out of these twelve Dimensional Heroes, eight arrived in timed events and as of now, they cannot be unlocked permanently in the game. However, four Dimensional Heroes (Merlin, Melusina, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Arthur) are permanently available in AFK Arena, and here’s how you can get them.
How to get Dimensional Heroes in AFK Arena
You can unlock Dimensional Heroes in AFK Arena through Exchanging Dimensionals events, the Labyrinth and Challenger stores, and Garrisoned Mercenaries. You can find more information on each of these methods below:
Exchanging Dimensionals event
Exchanging Dimensionals is a recurring event in AFK Arena that arrives whenever there’s a collaboration with a franchise like Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, or others. Traditionally, these events last for 60 days and within this time frame, players can farm resources and claim a Dimensional Hero.

Usually, the resources required to unlock a Dimensional Hero include Hero Coins, Guild Coins, Labyrinth Tokens, and Challenger Tokens. By spending them, you can collect puzzle pieces and finally exchange the desired Hero.
It is worth noting that you can only claim one or two Dimensional Heroes during the Exchanging Dimensionals events as they’re dedicated to a particular crossover/franchise. After the event duration (60 days) is over, the featured Dimensional Hero becomes unavailable and can only return if the developers approve of it.
Challenger Store
The Challenger Store in AFK Arena is unlocked at stage 9-20 and you can purchase Merlin or Leonardo Da Vinci, two Dimensional Heroes, from it. Their Soulstones are available in this shop and you can use Gladiator Coins to purchase sixty stones.
Labyrinth Store
The Labyrinth Store in AFK Arena is unlocked at stage 2-4 and you can purchase Arthur’s and Melusina’s Soulstones from it. Fifteen Dimensional Soul Stones cost 60,000 Labyrinth Tokens and you need 60 Soulstones to unlock the Hero. Hence, unlocking a Dimensional Hero like Arthur or Melusina will require you to spend 240,000 Labyrinth Tokens.
Garrisoned Mercenaries
Garrisoned Mercenaries in AFK Arena is a new system that lets you loan Dimensional Heroes for a month from your in-game friends and Guild members. Loaning a Dimensional Hero for 30 days costs 100 Dimensional Stones and you can obtain them by exchanging these resources:
- 800 Hero Coins > 1 Dimensional Stone
- 800 Guild Coins > 1 Dimensional Stone
- 800 Labyrinth Tokens > 1 Dimensional Stone
- 2666 Gladiator Coins > 1 Dimensional Stone
The cost to loan Dimensional Heroes is reduced after you’ve loaned them a few times but overall, this is the most expensive method to obtain them.
