  • Spawning (All) - Faceoff maps have had more spawn points added and a slight tweak to the logic. Should reduce the amount of spawn trapping. But the maps are small so spawning will always feel dangerous. Part of the fun of the mode. A full re-write on spawn logic is in the works but will be some time before it is ready.
  • Weapon Balance - IW has started their pass on weapons at the studio and are testing out some changes. Their current philosophy on this right now is not to nerf but rather to buff those weapons that are under-performing.
  • Playlist Updates – No info on Playlist updates just yet. Hoping to get to that soon.
  • Timer countdown tick fix for PS3. Both in-game and in-lobby.
  • Further improvements to network performance.
  • MP music volume remix.

  • FFA GUNPLAY – Available Now on Xbox 360, PS3, & PC – Cycles through these 3 variations:
  • Gun Game – There are 2 variations:
    -One variation uses an 18 gun progression including 2 sniper rifles to separate the men from the boys.
    -The second variation cycles 6 guns 3 times (no sniper rifles) so learn the 6 gun progression and pace yourself through the 3 waves.
    One In The Chamber – uses the P99 handgun.
    -Players begin with one bullet and earn a bullet for every kill (with gun or tactical knife).
    -Elimination occurs after 3 deaths but the last 3 players will be visible on the mini-map to keep the action rolling.
    -Eliminated players can chase remaining players in spectator mode and back a winner of their choosing by selecting them.
    -Selecting a player that you’re spectating gives you 150 XP for each of their subsequent kills so you can still stay in the game after you’re eliminated.
    All Or Nothing= a new variation on Free For All that was created by the community.
    -All players spawn with the USP .45 handgun with no ammo and a Throwing Knife.
    -The loadout includes the Hardline perk and Specialist point streak with Scavenger in the first slot.
    -As you get kills, you pick up scavenger packs and get ammo.
    -Once you’re killed you spawn back with no ammo and start again.
    -It’s like One in the Chamber meets Infected with plenty of hilarity mixed in

  • Infected- Available Now on Xbox 360, PS3, & PCThe game ends when either all players have been turned into infected or the game timer ends. A Survivor’s goal is to stay alive until the game ends, however, if you’re turned Infected, your goal is to turn all other survivors into infected by killing them. – They keep chaining and modifying class load outs to improve and make more fun

  • Drop Zone- Available Now on Xbox 360, PS3, & PC - Get to the drop zone to earn points, the first team to 7500 points wins the round, but thats not all. As long as the Drop Zone is occupied, a care package will drop every 15 seconds, which ever team has the most members in the drop zone at that point “owns” the care package, but anyone can steal it. This is the only way to earn air support in this mode, all other pointstreaks are disabled. You’ll earn 20 points per team member, for every second they’re in the drop zone plus 20 XP individually for your time spent in the zone. Kills are worth 50 XP in this mode.
