Almost 24 hours before Microsoft is set to reveal it’s next-gen console, Sony attempts to derail their hypetrain by releasing this teaser for the Playstation 4. So far, we can only confirm that Sony’s next console will be black (we were shocked too).

Sony’s E3 conference in Los Angeles will be on June 10 at 6 p.m. PT. We’re not expecting any Call of Duty-Sony exclusives but still wanted to keep you update to date on next-gen hardware.

Academy Award Winner ‘Stephen Gaghan’ possible SCREENWRITER for Call of Duty Ghosts

It appears that Activision is hiring top Hollywood talent again for the next Call of Duty since the most recent CallOfDuty.com Teaser hints at “S. Gaghan”. Digital Warfare 24/7 searched online for any possible matches and came up with non other than Acadamy Award Winner Stephen Gaghan.

Stephen is an American screenwriter and director who is famous for writing the screenplay for Steven Soderbergh’s film Traffic but he also reached critical acclaim and the Oscar for writing and directing “Syriana” in 2005 with George Clooney. For those that havent seen it, Syianna deals with the CIA and the oil industry.

Additionally, it looks like Infinity Ward’s Community Managers Tina and Candice follow him on Twitter (@gaghan) which gives more credit to the rumor. We should know for sure on Tuesday when Call of Duty Ghosts is fully revealed.

More teaser images for Call of Duty: Ghosts have been put up on the Call of Duty site.

There is a new coordinate location, which in Google Maps reveal a location in the South Atlantic Ocean

The next image is a postal card:

The other image is an update to the quote from yesterday, the new part is “And you can’t stop remembering the things you should forget.”

Infinity Ward teases a sneak peek of Call of Duty: Ghosts

Infinity Ward has given the first official sneak peak of Ghosts via the Call of Duty Vine account. The video begins by showing off an environment that is in Ghosts, then shows a character’s head. Next the video shows two soldiers kneeling side by side, followed by a sniper in prone. The video continues by showing a character walking through a forest, and finishes with the Ghosts logo.

Check back May 21st for the full reveal of Ghosts at the Xbox Reveal Event.

UPDATE: Two of the guns partially shown looked awfully familiar to us so we went and checked our MW3 archives and came up with this:

All NEW Black Ops 2 weapon camos to go on sale based upon fan votes -UPDATE

According to one of our sources, a new weapon camo will be go on sale for Black Ops 2 based upon fan votes. Starting May 23rd, there will be an option to vote for two of four camos via the message of the day in Black Ops 2 on the Xbox 360. The two camos with the most number of votes will go on sale starting May 29th.

The four camos that can be voted upon will be:

Comic Book
Cyborg
Dragon
Paladin

New Personalization Packs are coming to Call of Duty®: Black Ops II first on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace, and it’s up to you to decide which ones make the cut! Beginning on May 23rd through May 28th, Xbox 360® players can vote on their favorite Weapon Camo out of a group of four through the Call of Duty®: Black Ops II in-game Message of the Day. The two Weapon Camos with the most votes will become available for purchase as new Personalization Packs via the in-game store and on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace on May 29th.

The voting will start on May 23rd and it will end on May 28th. The camo should be going up on sale starting May 29th. The two winning camos will be sold as a Personalization Pack which costs 160 MSP. Each of the packs will contain the camo, 3 reticles, and 1 new Calling Card; similar to the current packs they offer.

The source has not said anything about when this will be coming to PS3/PC.

UPDATE: Acitivision has officially announced the four camos with the information we provided. The camos will go up for voting starting May 23rd.

New teaser on CallofDuty.com says “Die De La Federacion” on June 15th

The official Call of Duty site has been updated with two more clues about Call of Duty: Ghosts. The first one is hinting at something on June 15th: “Dia de la Ferderación El 15 de Junio”. We’re still not sure if it’s teasing to an event or reveal on Saturday June 15th but it should be noted thats 2 days after E3 ends (the last day of E3 is June 13th). Also, when you click on each image on the site it zooms in and allows you to share the new “message” via Twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets.

So far, the only connection we can find between Venezuela (the coordinates) and June 15th is “Decreto de Guerra a Muerte“, also known as “Decree of War to the Death” (via @MyBananasBigger).

Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC Free Trial coming to Xbox LIVE -UPDATE

According to hidden html code (shown below) discovered by @LiamFTWinter in the Xbox Live Upload Registry, Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC will be available as a free trial on Xbox LIVE soon. The image that he sent shows that the trial will expire on May 28th at 10am PDT, no word on when it will start.

This is the first time a Call of Duty DLC will be offered as a free trial. No word yet if this will be available to PS3/PC fans.

Also, there’s been some rumors/speculation going around about DLC 3 / 4. Some rumors point to a July 2nd launch for DLC 3, and an August 27th launch for DLC 4. No information has been confirmed yet about this, but we’ll keep you updated.

UPDATE: Acitivision has officially announced the trial will start May 24th on Xbox LIVE.
